Sin

Definition of Sin function represents the ratio of sides of the triangle, it is known as circular function.since their values can be the ratios of x and y co-ordinates on a circle of radius 1. Sin is an one of the type of trigonometric functions.Sin of an angle is the ratio of length of the hypotenuse and the length of the opposite side.

sin [theta] = opposite side / hypotenuse

Definition of Sin:

The function sin can be defined in several ways:

Definition I: The complex numbers

Given a complex number z = x + y i, sin(z) = sin(x)cosh(y) + cos(x)sinh(y) i

Definition II: From a triangle

Definition of sin is constructing a right triangle with a vertices of angle q. it is equal to the length of the opposite side to q and divided by the length of the hypotenuse. q in the range 0 < q < 90°.
